Time With Friends

Our dear friends, Brad and Jean, are visiting from Maryland this weekend, and we spent the day at the Manteo waterfront.  What an awesome day!  Gorgeous weather, nice breeze, and great company.  We walked around the farmer's market, browsed a few shops, stopped in the cafe, and then had lunch.  It reminds me that we don't take enough time to relax and just enjoy time with our friends.  We talked practically non-stop (I think I'm hoarse!), laughed a lot, and shared the gift that God has given us - each other.  It was one of those "stop and smell the roses" moments stretched into a whole day, and I found God today in the special blessing of time well spent with good friends.
