Whisper of Light

What a beautiful day!  Sunny, cool, breezy - just gorgeous.  We went out to see the ocean this afternoon, and it was wild!  Foam blowing across the beach, crazy waves rolling in - definitely a place to find God.  But that's not what He showed me when I asked today.  He showed me the golden light from when Jeff and I took our walk this morning.  The strong constant wind blowing somehow made the whole day feel "loud" and raucous. And though the wind was strong this morning, I felt a stillness in that early light - a peace.  The wild, crazy ocean was definitely God's work, but He spoke to me today in a whisper of light.
